Malaria programme
The District Malaria Office in collaboration with the State Vector Borne Disease Control Programme organised a programme on World Malaria Day under the theme, “End malaria for good”, on Tuesday. The function was held under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills and attended by the DHS(MI), the medical officers among others.

Death condoled
The Meghalaya Retired College Teachers’ Association (MRCTA) has condoled the death of Valine Nongrum, former lecturer, Department of Khasi, St. Mary’s College, Shillong. Nongrum passed away on April 23.

Past pupils’ meet
The Synod College will hold a general meeting for all past pupils of the college on April 29 at 1 pm at the Conference Hall of the institute.

Pension adalat
Controller of Communication Accounts, Department of Telecom, NE circle, Shillong will hold a pension adalat for redressal of grievances of DoT/BSNL pensioners on May 30 at the Conference Hall, office of the GMTD, BNSL NE-II Circle, Manipur SSA, Imphal.
