Robbery attempt at businessmen’s house thwarted

TURA: Six dacoits made a failed attempt to break into the residence of a businessman at Matchikolgre locality on the outskirts of Tura in the wee hours of Sunday.
The dacoits broke open the entrance gate of Kansan P. Sangma’s residence between 1-2 am and entered the room used by workers and tied them up. However, they fled when Kansan went looking for his licensed revolver.
