SHILLONG: The East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner has informed that the Office of the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) Sub-Division, Sohra will roll out the e-Services with effect from May 8.
Initially Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, residential and income certificates will be issued through e-Services.
The main objective of e-Services is to facilitate the citizens in availing different services provided by the office of the Sub-Divisional Office (Civil) Sub-Division, Sohra in a transparent and citizen-friendly environment.
“To improve citizens’ interface, relevant SMS will be triggered to the applicants during processing till completion of the certificate,” the statement said.
