Kropha on leave, Tsering holds charge

SHILLONG: Chief Secretary K.S Kropha, who has gone on leave for two weeks following his conviction in one of the coal scam cases in a special CBI court in Delhi on Friday, will appeal against the order.
“I got the copy of the judgment last evening and will appeal against the order in the Delhi High Court after the quantum of sentence is pronounced by the court on Monday,” Kropha told The Shillong Times over phone from Delhi.
As Kropha is on leave, Additional Chief Secretary Y. Tsering has been given the charge during the period.
