SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) will file an FIR into the leakage of the Secondary School leaving Certificate (SSLC) results online on Monday night.
The top-20 (toppers) list of the SSLC examinations was leaked online around 12 hours before the official declaration of the results by the Board.
MBOSE executive chairman Pravin Bakshi said that the FIR would be filed within 2-3 days after getting necessary information and details from the IT department of the Board and the National Informatics Centre (NIC).
The IT department of the Board is also conducting an internal inquiry to find out more about the source of the leakage.
Apart from internal inquiry, a probe is also being conducted by Education Secretary Walpeter Roy Lyngdoh to examine all aspects of the online leakage, fix responsibilities and suggest corrective measures.
The report is likely to be submitted within 10 days.
