BJP targets victory in 16 seats in GH

TURA: The Meghalaya unit of the BJP is optimistic it can win as many as 16 seats in the Garo Hills during the upcoming 2018 state elections.Senior BJP leader Kapin Chandra Boro while speaking at the Songsak rally said that the party was working overtime to ensure victory in as many as sixteen assembly constituencies. Boro is an aspirant of the party ticket for Tikrikilla constituency. Digros D Shira, former NPP state general secretary, who has joined the BJP is an aspirant for the party ticket from Mendipather, which includes Manikganj where the party held its mega rally on Tuesday. In Songsak, Thomas N Marak isvying for the party candidature.
