JOWAI: Niseinda Pyrkhatbha Pasi of Nangbah village, West Jaintia Hills lodged a complaint alleging that Manijar Thubru of the same village assaulted her son, Challanlangki Pasi (21).
She informed that Manijar assaulted her son on three occasions, first, while her son was playing carom board, second time while her son was on his way to a fete being held in a Presbyterian church and again on June 10, while he was on his way to the paddy field for sowing rice, as a result Challanlangki suffered from grievous injuries. The accused also threatened to kill him.
