Awareness programme on drug abuse

NONGPOH: As part of the observation of the International Day against drugs abuse and illicit trafficking, the office of the Superintendent of Children Home’s Boys, Ri Bhoi District organised a one-day awareness programme on Tuesday under the theme ‘Listen First’ for the youths and parents of Umlyngkdait Village at the community hall of Umlyngkdait Village, Nongpoh.
The programme was attended by A. Shongwan, Advocate and member of Child Welfare Committee in the presence of Rev. David Jamir as a resource person of the programme, E. Lyngdoh, Father, Children Home’s Boys, J. Gordon N. Ryngnga, Superintendent Children Home’s Boys, B.L Marwein, Secretary Dorbar Shnong, Umlyngkdait and others.
