New police station created at Chiading in East Garo Hills

SHILLONG: For public convenience and better administration, the Government of Meghalaya has notified for the creation of a new police station at Chiading in East Garo Hills district to be known as Chiading Police Station, according to a government communiqué.

 

On creation of the Chiading Police Station, the areas coming under its jurisdiction shall cease to be under Songsak Police Station and Williamnagar Police Station.

 

The villages falling under Chiading Police Station are Rongakgre, Rongalgre, Dilma Debrakgre, Dilma Ampanggre, Chiading, Garam Apal, Mandalgipi, Megagre, Megagre Songgital, Dilma Debrakgre, Dilma Matchok Akawe, Dilma Dilsekgre, Rongribo Kamagre, Rongribo Amalgre, Kalak Dorek, Gongmagre, Retenggre, Rongribo Walregre, Rongribo Kimenganggre, Samanda Wagetgre, Kalak Songgital, Kalak Songgitcham, Prapgre, Samanda Rikwarenggre, Rongribo Chibolgre, Samanda Doktilgre, Samanda Patranggre, Tongbolgre, Tongbol Kamagre, Songma Enggok, Dilma Songgitcham, Dilma Kawak, Dilma Dandinang, Dilma Debrakgre, Suchilgre, Dilma Rimtonggre, Dinajikgre, Suchilgre Songgital, Bawegre, Demogre, Asimgre, Bansamgre, Bansam Awe, Samanda Block HQ, Samanda Bazaar, Rongsakgre, Bansamgre, New Rangmalgre, Samanda Chinemgre, Pawakgre, Grenanggre, Rangmalgre Songgitcham, Mangrugre, Mejalligre, Rongatgre, Naregre, Gonggnagre, Dinaminggre, Dolwarigre, Sawilgre, Bansinggre, Rengregre, Dorakgre, Rongchek Manda, Rongchek Chambugong, Rongkinggre, Daribokggre, Bande Ampang, Mandalgre, Bandigre, Rongbeng, Kantra, Mandalang Akoksi, Mandalang, Danal Balnanggre, Danal Apal, Danal Megagre, Danal Songgitcham and Chan-gala.

Boundaries of the Chiading Police Station are Songsak Police Station in the North, Williamnagar Police Station in the East, Chokpot Police Station in the South and Tura Police Station in the West.
