SHILLONG: Chief Minister Mukul Sangma has blamed the Centre for the confusion post GST implementation.
Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of the presidential elections here on Monday, Mukul Sangma said that different stakeholders, including political parties, had earlier expressed concern about the manner of implementing GST since such a mammoth exercise requires involvement of not only government authorities but even the stakeholders.
Hiccups could have been avoided and hurdles could have been removed before rolling out the new tax regime.
“But there was complete insensitivity and adamant attitude of the government,” he said.
