SHILLONG: The Shillong International Centre for Performing Arts and Culture will be inaugurated in December, Chief Minister Mukul Sangma said on Thursday.
Speaking at the inaugural function of Mawlai C&RD Block, Sangma said, “The true spirit of democracy lies in fulfilling the aspirations of people… before we go to the (2018) elections, people must know what we have done because it is the responsibility of politicians to tell people that they have kept the promise.”
The performing arts centre is being built at a cost of Rs 150 crore.
