SHILLONG: Three coal trucks have been detained in the last few days for transporting coal in Jaintia Hills region in violation of the NGT order.
On Thursday, police detected one coal laden truck (NL-01N-9277) driven by Boimi O Paia Susngi, while transporting coal in violation of NGT order at Mookyndur in West Jaintia Hills.
In another incident on Wednesday, police detected one coal laden truck (AS-01FC-0551) driven by Hamboy Lapasam (30), while transporting coal in violation of NGT order near Cement Market in East Jaintia Hills.
On Tuesday as well, , Khliehriat police detected one coal laden truck (ML-04C-0540), while transporting coal in violation of NGT order.
