Painting competition on ‘Waste Management’ on July 22

SHILLONG: Meghalaya State Pollution Control Board in collaboration with the North Eastern Service All India Radio, Shillong is organising a poster competition on the theme- “Waste Management” on 22nd July, 2017 at the office of NES, All India Radio at 12 noon, according to a Press communique.

The competition is open for students of Class VII to XII and is being  as part of an initiative to sensitize people to translate their concern for a cleaner Shillong into action. The DDG (E) AIR Shillong S Mandal, Member Secretary MSPCB JH Nengnong and Environment Engineer MSPCB WR Kharkrang will address on waste management.
