TURA: Two employees of a construction firm who were abducted by unidentified miscreants from Tura on Thursday night were released on Saturday morning near 12th Mile on Kherapara-Dalu Road in the wake of police launching a massive operation to rescue the abducted persons.

Four miscreants in an auto-rickshaw abducted the two employees of the construction firm, engaged in building a mega parking arena at Akonggre locality in Tura town, to demand ransom.

The miscreants took the abducted persons high up the Tura peak and kept them confined there even as police launched a massive search operation forcing the abductors to let loose the captives and flee the scene.
