Man found hanging from tree in SWGH
On July 21 morning, Pujing G Sangma (55) was found hanging from a tree at Boldorenggre cashew nut garden in South West Garo Hills. Necessary formalities have been observed and the matter is under enquiry.
Jumbos destroy crops in Ri Bhoi
A herd of wild elephants destroyed crops and a bamboo hut belonging to Waitthingson Sangma at Nagrabil under Pillangkata outpost in Ri Bhoi on July 15 midnight. Loss of property is estimated around Rs 40,000 approximately.
