Three arrested, heroin seized

SHILLONG: Police on Monday arrested three persons from the city along with suspected heroin. On Monday afternoon, Police arrested two persons Amar Thapa (35) and Brightstar Shadap (35) from the parking lot of Bethany Hospital  and recovered 1.40 grams of suspected heroin, cash Rs. 8,510 and one cell-phone.
Police also seized 0.15 grams of suspected heroin, cash Rs. 6,120 and one cell-phone from the possession of Amar Thapa.
Later, one Yash Mehra, a customer was also arrested and from his possession cash Rs. 2,100 and one cell-phone was recovered.
