Mining plan: Govt to seek more time from NGT

SHILLONG: The State Government will on Thursday request for two weeks time from the National Green Tribunal (NGT) to file the comprehensive application with regards to how mining can be started in the state.
“We are in the process of filing the comprehensive application and we will request for two weeks time, State counsel in Supreme Court, Ranjan Mukherjee said.
