50 petrol bombs found in Ri Bhoi forest

NONGPOH: As many as 50 petrol bombs were recovered from a forest in Ri Bhoi district on Saturday evening.
Police said they conducted a search operation in the forested area at Lumbyrhing village along the national highway following a tip-off and found the bombs around 7.30pm.
The bombs were lying there for a long time and some of the bottles were empty and had gathered moss, the police added.
The bombs were taken to Nongpoh police station and police are on the lookout for the miscreants.
