SHILLONG: GHADC CEM Boston Marak on Sunday informed that he will order an inquiry into reports of stolen materials from GHADC quarters if a complaint is lodged.
Commenting on reports of theft at the quarters, Boston told The Shillong Times that he will instruct the officer in-charge to list out the materials supplied to the quarters. The CEM was reacting to allegations by the A’chik Youth Council of articles such as computers, printers, refrigerators and others going missing from the official quarters after change of guard in the GHADC administration.
The organisation stated that this was one of the most corrupt activities prevalent in the GHADC and called for an end to such activities.
