Dry Day declared on August 15

SHILLONG: The Deputy Commissioners of West Khasi Hills District, West Jaintia Hills District and Ri Bhoi District has declared 15th August, 2017 as Dry Day on account of Independence Day.

All liquor shops/bonded warehouses, IMFL shops, bars, hotels, breweries, canteen, clubs and Outstill shops shall remain closed on the above mentioned date, a government communique says.
