SHILLONG: Heavy rain for the past two days is taking its toll in the capital city of Shillong. A portion of the guard wall of Shillong College collapsed due to heavy rainfall in the city for the last few days.

A source in the district administration said no one was injured in the incident and the road has been partially cleared for smooth flow of the traffic.

As there is a building located near to the collapsed wall so the district administration has issued a notice to the authorities of the College to remain alert.
