Lapang hands over ambulance to Ri Bhoi villagers

NONGPOH: In a bid to ease the problems faced by the local populace of eight villages under the umbrella of Synjuk Ki Phra Shnong, Pahamrioh circle, the local legislator and Chief Adviser Dr DD Lapang has handed over an ambulance from SRWP Scheme in a programme held at Pahamrioh village on Wednesday.
 The programme was also attended by E. Lyngdoh, District Transport Officer, B. Pohchen, District Medical and Health Officer, Nongpoh, R. Kharbikhiew, BDO Umling C&RD Block, office bearers of the Nongpoh Block Congress Committee and the headmen of eight villages, comprising Pahamrioh Them, Pahamrioh Lum, Umskun, Umlyngkdait, Lumbyrhing, Umshangling, Shangbangla and Umryngksai village besides the local populace at large.
            The chairman of the Synjuk ki Phra Shnong, K Suting while speaking at the function expressed his gratitude to Lapang.
