Skill devp, awareness programme held

SHILLONG: The state government, with the support of NGO Aide et Action and in collaboration with the Dorbar Shnong and Seng Samla (Youth Group) in Nongkseh, organised a road show on Saturday.
The programme, themed on ‘Choose your future, choose to work’, was to create awareness on education and provide relevant information on various skill training. It was also aimed at offering young participants chance to enroll for free training programmes at Meghalaya State Skills Development Society and ITIs.
The event, held in Mylliem under Project: Supporting Human Capital Development in Meghalaya, featured freestyle performances, BMX stunts, dances, music and games.
