Shemphang Dkhar lodged a complaint that in the year 2009, one Shah Phawa loaded coal valued around Rs 24,36,930 from his depot at Kongong and Mookhep (EJH) and paid Rs 10,50,000. However, in spite of several reminders, the remaining amount of Rs 13,86,930 has not been paid.
P.R Sangma, BDO, C&RD Block lodged a complaint that one Abdus Sobur, ex-secretary of Gandhimari had misappropriated public money and misguided the government servant to pass the bills fraudulently without completing the works.

Cattle lifted
On the night of September 6, unknown miscreants lifted eighteen cattle from Nongjngi Ionglwit village and are suspected to have been transported towards Amlarem, Dawki.
