IAF to conduct AFCAT anew on Sept 17 for flood-hit aspirants in N-E

GUWAHATI: Indian Air Force (IAF) has decided to hold Combined Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for candidates who could not take the test on the original date.

Those candidates who were allotted examination centres in North East India for AFCAT 02/2017 on 27 August, 20 17 and could not appear due to disruption in rail and road traffic (after floods) may appear for the supplementary AFCAT examination 17 September 17, 2017 (Sunday) at Guwahati Centre.

 

Defence spokesman, Lt.Col. Suneet Newton informed that  the candidates should send request through email (to [email protected]) with details of Name, AFCAT Number, AFCAT Centre and EKT Branch by a date not later than September 14, 2017. Address of examination centre with time of reporting will be notified separately through email/ SMS. 

 

Candidates are to carry admit cards issued earlier and adhere to all other instructions therein. 

 

Candidates who have already appeared in AFCAT 02/2017 on August 27, 2017 at any centre are not eligible to appear in the supplementary AFCAT on September 17, 2017. For further details visit our website, www.careerairforce.nic.in
