SHILLONG: The Additional Chief Secretary of Meghalaya, General Administration (A) Department, has informed that all state government offices and all revenue and magisterial courts and educational institutions in the East Khasi Hills District shall remain closed on September 18 , 2017 on account of “Unitarian Anniversary Day”
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioners of Ri Bhoi District and West Jaintia Hills have also declared September 18, 2017 as local holiday on account of “Unitarian Anniversary Day”. All state government offices, revenue and magisterial courts and educational institutions within Ri Bhoi District and West Jaintia Hills District will remain closed on that day.
