Meeting held to boost tourism

SHILLONG: Indiatourism Shillong has chalked out several programmes from October 5 to 25 for the implementation of ‘Paryatan Parv’ launched by the Ministry of Tourism.
In a statement on Sunday, Indiatourism said it will create awareness on various tourism initiatives.
Indiatourism office in association with Meghalaya Tourism and NEC had launched its first programme at Wards’ lake on October 5 with a cultural function.
On October 6, the tourism office along with Institute of Hotel Management, Govt of India had organised a drama on Paryatan Parv at Wards lake.
The same programme was repeated at Ever Living Museum.
On Sunday, the Paryatan Parv was organised at Hotel Silk Route along with its staff and functionaries.
