FINER contributes Rs 10 lakh to Assam CM’s relief fund

GUWAHATI: Federation of Industry & Commerce of North Eastern Region (FINER) made a contribution of an amount of Rs 10 lakh to the Chief Minister of Assam, towards the Chief Minister’s flood relief fund.

The delegation was headed by Pabitra Buragohain, President FINER and accompanied by Bajrang Lohia, Rajeev Agarwal, vice-presidents, R.G. Harlalka and Binit Todi, according to a communique issued by the FINER office here.

The President availed of the opportunity to apprise the Chief Minister regarding some pressing issues affecting the economic activities including reintroduction of North East Industrial Policy. He further submitted suggestion regarding implementation of the Act East Policy.

The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing and welcomed the suggestions made by the delegation and assured that the Government will try its best to address all issues and concerns of the Trade, Industries and Commerce of the State.
