Village council to back Skindro

SHILLONG: The village council of Lumshnong, East Jaintia Hills, has decided to extend its support to Independent candidate, Skindro Dkhar who will contest the 2018 Assembly elections from Sutnga-Saipung constituency.
According to a statement released by Joining Dkhar, Skindro is the third son of Friday Bthuh and Weris Dkhar from Narpuh Elaka.
He worked as an upper division assistant at the deputy commissioner’s office, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat and applied for voluntary retirement scheme.
Sutnga-Saipung constituency is currently represented by Independent candidate, Hopeful Bamon.
