Shillong: This year’s edition of Beer festival will be held on October 21 at Orchid Lake Resort from 1 pm to 10:30 pm. The festival will see around 16 brands of beer, both local and international competing on an equal footing to win over consumers hearts.
This year it will see the participation of brands from Korea, Mexico, Germany, the UK and the local brew from Karbi Anglong, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, chilli rice beer from shora, sweet rice beer from Bhoi and the mad mad rice beer from Sohiong.
The festival is also looking to promote local chefs. On the music front, the festival will see “The Many Roots Ensemble”, a reggae musical project from different parts of the country who come together to perform under one banner, the Pulse Pundits, Asia’s top AC\DC tribute band, Melomindz, Shillong’s latest sensation, DjKan among others.
