SHILLONG: A person succumbed to injuries after he was hit by a vehicle in Police Bazar.
The unidentified pedestrian was taken to Civil Hospital following the accident last Sunday. The medical officer there declared him brought dead. His body is kept in the morgue.
On the same day, another pedestrian, Lona Kyndiah (50), was injured after she was knocked down by a scooty at Wahnangbah Junction in West Jaintia Hills.
The rider was identified as Simon Deimon Sutnga. Kyndiah is admitted in Jowai Civil Hospital.
