TURA: Mendipathar, is preparing to witness a political battle between the top three parties in the state.
The Congress party has already made it known that sitting NCP legislator Marthon J Sangma will be the party candidate.
The lone ticket aspirant from the BJP Digros D Shira has officially announced his candidature by holding a public gathering of his clan and well wishers at Mendipathar on Wednesday.
He will be up against two heavyweights in the political slugfest- Marthon and the NPP’s Frankenstein W Momin.
Frankenstein is a former minister who held sway to Mendipather for a number of terms.
