Trader held after recovery of Rs 73 lakh in cash

GUWAHATI: A businessman in the city has been arrested following recovery of over Rs 73 lakh in cash from his business establishment by sleuths of CID of the state police during a raid.

After recovery of the huge amount of cash from Kamal Nandi who owns Kamal Motors India at Anthgaon in the city. The businessman was arrested on Thursday after the CID handed over the case to Income Tax Department for further investigation.
