Gender sensitisation programme in Nongpoh

NONGPOH: In a bid to raise awareness on gender equality concern, the office of the Superintendent of Police, Ri Bhoi District in collaboration with the North East Network organised a two-day gender sensitisation programme for police personnel in Nongpoh on Friday and Saturday.
  The two-day sensitisation programme aims at focusing mainly on violence against women and gender relations involving an interactive workshop to break stereotypes.
Altogether more than 60 police personnel’s from CRPF, MPRO and F&ES actively participated in the programme and two batches were trained.
