KHADC member foresees Cong win in state polls

SHILLONG: A sitting member of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC), PT Sawkmie on MOnday expressed his optimism that the Congress party would win the upcoming  2018  Assembly  elections  scheduled to be held early next year.

Speaking to media persons in Shillong, PT Sawkmie  said that people of Meghalaya had confidence in the Congress which is  the oldest party in the country.

The member of the District Council is also scheduled to contest the upcoming Assembly elections on a Congress ticket from Mawlai constituency
