Awareness camp
The DC, Ri Bhoi, informed to all registered electors of the district that the Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trial (VVPAT) awareness camp has been set up in the office of the DC from 11 am to 4.30 pm on Thursday. All registered electors are urged to attend the camp.
SK Oil released
The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), West Khasi Hills District, Nongstoin has informed that SK Oil for the month of November, has been released through Sub-dealers. The price for the Sub-dealer is Rs.22.81p per litre and for the public consumers of Nongstoin (Town Area) is Rs. 25.81p per litre and outside the Town Area (Rural) is Rs. 26.31p per litre. Any non-supply of SK Oil and over charging of rate by the dealers may be brought to the notice of the DC along with the details.
Cooperative Week
The office of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies Meghalaya, Shillong in collaboration with the State Level Cooperative Federations will celebrate the 64th All India Cooperative Week from November 14 to 20. The inaugural function will be held at Sajer Hall Nongpoh, Ri Bhoi District, where Minister in charge, Cooperation Department will be the chief guest.
Notification
The Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, C&RD Department has informed that the transfer of the villages under Damalgre C&RD Block to Rongram C&RD Block, West Garo Hills. The villages include Rongkhon Songgital, Penney Valley, Sonanpara, Ringgigre, Agillanggre, Asibra, Robagre, Chandragre, Daldagre, Bokmagre, Danak Dopgre, Siltinggre, Danakgre and Badagonggre.
