NGT violation

Police on Tuesday detained one truck (ML-04-8556) driven by Chaitlang Ryngkhlem at Toll Plaza, 20th Mile (RB), for transporting coal in violation of NGT order.

Duped

Donaldton Dkhar and others lodged a complaint that on November  13, one advertisement was posted on Facebook account with the name of ‘Teer Don’, wherein the person mentioned in his status update that if they made an advance payment of Rs. 8,000 he will give them the number of 1st round result [Meghalaya Teer] and through a conversation on WhatsApp, the complainants deposited Rs 6,000 in the account of one Chandan Nama. However, the number given by him did not come.
