SHILLONG: The assistant organising secretary of Shella Block Congress Committee, T Wahlang, has quit the party on Friday and joined the PDF.
In a statement, Wahlang, a resident of Sohsarat, said he sees no victory for the Congress under the leadership of aspiring candidate Batynshain Rynga.
“The fight is only between Leston Wanswett (PDF) and Donkupar Roy (UDP). It is meaningless to hold on to the post of assistant organising secretary when the party is not going to lead anywhere,” he said.
