TURA: The FKJGP, Kharkutta circle in North Garo Hills has urged the Deputy Commissioner of the district to look into the implementation of the Women Economic Empowerment through financial inclusion and Entrepreneurship Scheme which was released for the area on December 19 last year.
According to the federation the scheme is not being implemented as per the guidelines and is being done in a bias nature. It urged that the scheme is implemented through the implementing agency and not by a particular political party.
“The deserving beneficiaries should be identified without partiality and the scheme should be implemented in a transparent and fair manner,” the federation said.
The federation claimed that as per their observation the present implementation is being undertaken by a certain political party with vested interests.
