Coal laden trucks detected

SHILLONG: As many as six coal laden trucks have been detected in Ri Bhoi district in the last couple of days. On January 15 around 2 am, police detected two coal laden trucks (AS-01BC-4389 & AS-01DC-2331) while attempting to flee from the weighbridge at 13th Mile, Byrnihat.
In another incident on January 13 , four trucks RJ-27GC-5086, AS-01DD-1777, ML-04B-4757 and ML-04B-0657, were detained while they were evading a weighbridge at 13th Mile, Byrnihat. The matter is under investigation.
