Assault
On February 25 around 7 am, one Shyam assaulted Durga Nath (32 yrs) at Mawbah in Mawprem resulting in the victim sustaining multiple injuries. He was later admitted at Civil Hospital.
Accident
On February 25 around 5.15 pm, one tourist vehicle (ML-05P-4154) knocked down one Phirda Kharumnuid (54 yr) near Umiam, Ri Bhoi. The victim sustained injuries and was taken to Civil Hospital, Shillong.
On February 24 around 9.45 pm, one Maruti car (ML-05J-5907) driven by Trebor Pyrbot collided with one scooty (ML-05M-6796) ridden by a minor at Malki point. The rider of the scooty and two pillion riders sustained injuries and were admitted at Woodland Hospital.

On February 23 around 8.30 pm, one Maruti local taxi (ML-05K-2433) driven by Yestar Khyriem (22 yrs) knocked down one Phibarihun Langstieh (16 yrs) at Lad Mawreng in East Khasi Hills. The victim was admitted at Civil Hospital.
Theft
On February 22, unknown miscreant(s) broke into M/s Star Steel & Hardware belonging to Daljeet Singh at Demseiniong and fled with Rs. 15,000 in cash along with items worth Rs. 1 lakh.
On February 22, unknown miscreant(s) broke into the house of Bas Sna at Salaroh, Jowai and managed to flee with Rs. 50,000 in cash along with gold ornaments.
