ULFA-I cadre apprehended in Nalbari

GUWAHATI: In a joint operation launched by the Army and Assam Police, one ULFA(I) cadre was apprehended from Barkura in Nalbari District, Assam on the night of April 2. The troops established a Special Mobile Check Post (MCP) at Barkura Chowk on NH 31 and during the conduct of routine search, the ULFA (I) cadre was apprehended. The militant was found in possession of a 9 mm factory made revolver along with two live rounds of ammunition, a defence source informed here.
