WKH youths asked to refrain from violence

NONGSTOIN: The West Khasi Hills administration under the chairmanship of DC in-charge KL Nongbri, has appealed to all residents of the districts to stay away from any activities in connection with the ongoing violence in Shillong.
During a meeting on Monday, Nongbri also requested all residents, especially youths, not to entertain rumors without proper verification of facts, which may disturb law and order.
A meeting was also held at Mawshynrut and Mairang civil sub-division on Monday.
Superintendent of Police GD Kharwanlang, local leaders, headmen and NGOs were also present at the meeting.
