5 ITBP jawans killed in mishap in Arunachal Pradesh

GUWAHATI: At least five jawans of Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) were killed and few others injured when their vehicles was hit by a landslide at Likabali in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday. The jawans were travelling in a minibus to Likabali from a nearby camp.

Four of the jawans were killed on the spot and bodies retrieved by locals from the landslides hit vehicle while one of the jawans died in Assam Medical College Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh where injured jawans were airlifted by a chopper. Details were being awaited.
