Awareness on zoonotic diseases held

TURA: An awareness programme was organised on the occasion of World Zoonoses Day by ICAR-KVK at Sangsangre near Tura recently.
World Zoonoses Day is observed on July 6 every year to create awareness on zoonotic diseases which are transmitted from animals to humans.
The programme was organised to create preparedness among people. ATMA officials, school teachers, gram sevikas and farmers were among others who attended the programme.
