West Bengal men held with drugs

SHILLONG: Three persons from West Bengal were arrested in the city for possessing drugs on Saturday.
Police said acting on a tip off, they kept vigil on NH-40 near M/s Banalari World Cars, Mawlai Nongkwar, and recovered psychotropic substances (marijuana) packed with newspapers.
Police also found tapes weighing about 43.125 kg, from a night super bus (NL-07B-0398).
In this connection, police arrested Mudassa (19), Mohammad Arshad Alam (25) and Mohammad Abdul Sattar (28), all hailing from Islampur, West Bengal.
