NGT violation
On July 25 around 11.30 pm, police detected four dumper trucks: ML-11-2824 driven by Wanri Syrti, ML-11-3124 driven by Blooming Ryngkhlem, ML-11-7611 driven by Phermi Ryngkhlem and ML-11-5890 driven by Saimi Sana, while they were illegally transporting coal at Raliang in West Jaintia Hills.

Police nab peddler
On July 31 around 12.05 am, police acting on inputs raided the house of one Kimboi Mate (29) at Lummarboh, Nongrah and recovered 9.4 grams of suspected heroin and 3685 WY (Yaba) tablets.
