District level open football tourney

SHILLONG: The office of the East Khasi Hills District Sports Officer will organise a ‘District Level Open to All Football Tournament’ scheduled to begin in the second week of September. The tournament will be divided into two categories – the U-18 boys and girls and U-15 boys and girls. Interested parties can send in their applications to the office of District Sports Officer along with passport sized photographs on or before August 28. Screening will be conducted on August 30. Only players who were born on January 1, 2004 or later will be eligible to take part in the U-15 category whereas players born on or after January 1, 2001 will be eligible for the U-18 category. No applications will be accepted after the mentioned date.
