Shillong: A nurse from Namdong PHC contacted 108 on Sunday regarding a patient who was referred to Shillong due to a case of non progressive labor.
Just before reaching Ummulong, the patient identified as Merciful Nongrum complanied of severe abdominal pain and went into labor.
EMT Marleki Pohlong conducted the delivery in the ambulance, and a healthy baby girl was born.
Both thr mother and child were admitted taken back to Ummulong PHC by a Nartiang based 108 ambulance.
