Student dies of injury received during wall collapse in school

GUWAHATI: A class four student of Saint Joseph High School in Sonari in eastern Assam’s Dibrugarh district died on Sunday night at a nursing home in Dibrugarh of the head injury he had sustained due to collapse of school wash room wall a few days back.

Police said two students were injured in the mishap but the deceased, Ranga Ranjan Mohon was seriously injured in the head. The school administration has declared holiday for two day because of the death of the student even as the district administration has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
